Vehicular Antennas

The vehicle continuously changes its direction, which affects the polarization of the vehicular antennas.

Vehicular antennas are required to communicate with:

  • Linearly polarized systems such as cellular base stations
  • Circularly polarized systems such as GPS and satellite phones.
  • Vehicular antennas may have to communicate with other systems without having a clear line of sight between them, which results in multi-path reflections and multiple rotation of polarization.
  • Communicating with vehicular antennas may be randomly blocked from different directions by buildings and other objects.

AMANT has developed a distinguished antenna that solves all the challenges of a moving vehicle’s connectivity!

  • Good reception from all directions/polarizations.
  • A very wide frequency bandwidth.
  • High efficiency
    measured in Satimo Lab
  • It will not be visible on the vehicle
  • A very small profile
