A Novel Terminal Antenna Covers the Whole LTE/5G Sub-6GHz/mm Band for Cellular Handsets &IoT

  • No matching/tuning circuits or extended ground planes
  • Wide bandwidth (0.7 – 5.8 GHz), (3.3 – 7.0 GHz) or the mm-wave band (25 – 35GHz) with a single resonant antenna
  • Very high Efficiency reaching 90% . Which consumes less power & Saves battery life
  • Do not get affected by the surrounding environment or the human body
  • Made of a narrow and thin flexible material and can be bent/folded in different forms to fit any available space in the terminal
  • Can be mounted anywhere inside/outside any terminal
  • Can be implemented in handsets, tablets, laptops, notebooks or any terminal
  • Suitable for different IoT and vehicle applications
  • Can be easily implemented in MIMO with high isolation

Orthogonally Polarized Antenna with a Single Port

In Addition to the aforementioned specs, the orthogonally polarized antenna features the following:

  • Our novel terminal antenna can be used as a feed for a new base station antenna (dual parabolic cylindrical reflectors)
  • To eliminate the need for spatial diversity MIMO, a single port orthogonally polarized antenna has been developed to cover (0.7-5.8GHz) or (3.3-7GHz)
  • The plus/minus 45 degree polarizations in base stations are used in spatial diversity MIMO (the same data is sent to provide a more reliable link) or in spatial multiplexing MIMO (independent data streams are sent to increase link capacity).
  • The need for a spatial multiplexing MIMO may be eliminated in the new 5G/LTE multi-beam base station antenna because of its high capacity.
  • It is equally sensitive to two perpendicular polarizations (e.g. plus/minus 45 degrees)
