Amant Antennas introduces revolutionary antenna designs to solve current challenges in the telecommunication industry such as LEO satellites communications, connectivity coverage for rural areas and more. Enjoy reading about our telecommunication solutions below!
LEO Satellites
LEO satellites are commonly arranged in constellations for optimal coverage. These constellations can consist of tens of thousands of satellites to ensure global reach. Several mega-constellations, including Starlink by SpaceX, Kuiper by Amazon, OneWeb, and CubeSat, are already in operation. This presents a significant challenge for managing terminals and ground stations due to the large number of satellites in orbit.
Amant has a unique wideband lightweight passive foldable/deployable multibeam antenna with simultaneous vertical and horizontal sectorization.

Broadcast Solutions for Rural Areas
The growing demand for telecommunication solutions in rural areas is driven by the increasing reliance on mobile devices. As more users in remote locations seek connectivity, there is a pressing need for robust, reliable, and cost effective communication infrastructure. Meeting these demands will require innovative approaches to expand coverage and improve access to mobile services in underserved areas.
Amant Antennas has developed a cost effective multiband-multibeam antenna tailored for various wireless applications, particularly in rural areas.
A Single antenna can cover the 5G-sub-6GHz band (3.3-7GHz), the mm-wave band (25-35GHz) or the LTE band (0.7-3.8 GHz)
Passive Repeaters
In complex environments, obstacles, such as tall urban structures, often disrupt connectivity, posing challenges for users. Limited base station availability exacerbates this issue in telecommunication infrastructure, necessitating repeaters to extend coverage. However, existing solutions like Intelligent Reconfigurable Surfaces (RIS) are intricate and economically impractical. Addressing these complexities is crucial for enhancing connectivity in challenging environments.
The passive repeater antenna can receive wireless signals from any number of resources from different directions having different frequency bands. The repeater can then reradiate the signals of all these wireless applications to cover any number of areas having any arbitrary shape.
Amant’s passive repeaters are adaptable for mounting on either stationary or quasi-stationary platforms, such as aircraft, to provide coverage over fixed areas of any shape.
Handheld portable Devices/IOT Terminals
Modern handheld devices encounter various antenna challenges, primarily stemming from the necessity to incorporate matching circuits. The power consumption of such circuits negatively impacts battery life. Furthermore, they impose limitations on bandwidth due to their frequency dependence and introduce random polarization, exacerbating interference issues. Consequently, these challenges impede the efficient use of antennas, particularly in applications requiring circular polarization, such as GPS and satellite phones.
Amant developed a novel small dual polarized antenna technology for all terminals and handsets, satellite phones, portable communication equipment, vehicles, etc.
